Campground Amenities
While staying at South Beach Gardens, there are many activities you can partake in.
Mini Golf: There is a mini golf course located on site. It is open Monday through Saturday 6pm-10pm, and costs $3 per person. Clubs and balls are provided for golfers.
Playgrounds: There are two playgrounds for kids to enjoy. The bigger park is divided into two for little children, and older children. The playgrounds are located near sections D and L, and the other playground can be found in the middle of section B.
Arcade: The arcade is opened 9am-11pm daily. Inside there are are arcade games for all ages, pinball machines, and a pool table. Machines take quarters and the pool table requires loonies. There is a change machine in the arcade that gives quaters, or the office will provide you with change.
Fishing Dock: There is a creek throughout the campground, where you can fish for sucker fish and bottom feeders, and spot turtles, beavers, and ducks. There is a fishing dock for those to enjoy located near the arcade.
Bathrooms: There are 4 bathrooms located throughout the campground. The showers in each washroom are coin operated.
Laundromat: The laundry mat is located towards the front of the campground and is attached to bathroom #1.
Office/Store: The office/store is open daily from 8:30am to 10pm. The store is inside of the office that sells floaty's, some groceries-milk, eggs, bread, cereal, cold drinks, snacks, ice cream etc. There is also a concession attached to the office that sells slush puppies, floats, ice cream cones, popcorn, nachos, Iced Caps, Iced Lemonade, coffee, and hot chocolate. The office accepts cash, visa or traveler cheques for camping. The store accepts cash or visa for a $10 minimum. The concession takes cash only. There is no debit or ATM on the premises.
Picnic Tables: There is one picnic table per site.
Sani Dump: There is a sani-dump on location near the front of the campground behind bathroom number 1.
